Financial calculators
Ten simple calculators for SIPs, goals, retirement, STP and SWP — try your own figures, then talk them through with us.
Put numbers to your goals
Move the sliders or type your own figures. Every result updates instantly, so you can see what a steady habit, a small step-up or an early start could do.
SIP calculator
A fixed amount every month, invested on the same date. See how the amount you put in compares with what it could grow to.
Step-up SIP calculator
Raise your SIP a little every year as your income grows, and compare it with keeping the amount flat.
Lump sum calculator
For a bonus, a maturity amount or savings you want to put to work in one go.
Goal planner
A house down payment, a wedding, a dream trip — start from what it costs today and let inflation show what it may cost later.
Child education calculator
College fees tend to rise faster than everyday prices. Plan the monthly amount that could keep pace, counting what you have already set aside.
Retirement calculator
Estimate the corpus that could pay your monthly expenses after you stop working, and the SIP that could build it.
Crorepati calculator
Pick a target and a monthly SIP to see roughly how long it could take to get there.
STP calculator
Park a lump sum in a liquid or debt fund and move a fixed amount every month into an equity fund, instead of investing it all at once.
SWP calculator
Draw a regular monthly amount from your investments and see how the balance may hold up — and whether it could run out.
Cost of delay calculator
"I will start next year" has a price. See how much less the same SIP could build if you wait.
How to read these numbers
A calculator is a torch, not a map. It shows the direction your money could take if a few assumptions hold.
Returns are assumed
The return you choose is applied smoothly every month. Real markets move up and down, sometimes sharply, so actual values can be higher or lower — and in some periods, below what you invested.
Inflation changes the target
What costs ₹10 lakh today may cost far more in fifteen years. The goal, education and retirement calculators raise today's cost by the inflation rate you set, so the target you plan for is the future one.
Illustrations, not promises
Results ignore taxes, exit loads and fund expenses, and they cannot know which scheme you will choose. Use them to set a habit and a target, then review your plan every year with real numbers.
Figures on this page are illustrations at assumed rates of return and inflation, for understanding only. Mutual fund investments are subject to market risks, read all scheme related documents carefully.
